Puffgap is a quit-vaping plan for iPhone and Apple Watch. You log each session with one tap, and the app stretches the vape-free time between sessions a little each week, walking you to a quit day you can see from day one. Logging works from the app, widgets, the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, Siri, Control Center and the watch.
The problem
Counting puffs keeps attention on the habit, and a plan that resets after a slip pushes people to give up. The goals also have to come from how someone really vapes, so logging must be quick enough to happen every single time.
What I built
I made the plan start with 3 days of logging only and then set each week's gap goal from that data. A week moves on after 5 days on target out of 7 and repeats with no penalty if it gets hard, and a slip never resets progress. For cravings there's a 5-minute SOS screen, and guard mode covers the riskiest hours after quitting. The AI coach runs on Claude through a Cloudflare Worker that stores no conversation content. Data stays on the phone, and there's no account.
